I have a 2008 honda crv and my hood paint and clear coat is cracking really bad on left side. they were less helpful .I live in Fl. I would like to be part of this suit too. Totally displeased.!! My nighthawk civic 07 also has clear coat failure on bonnet boot and roof and clear and base coat on door frames. I have a nighthawk pearl black 2010 si. Too bad it’s not in the lawsuit. So now that area has started delaminating. I own 2005 Honda Accord, silver gray. American Honda Motor Co. claims the root cause of this paint failure is acid rain, therefore not their responsibility. Honda 2010 white pearl Insight – peeling stops of paint on hood! Pretty much the same story as everyone else. Can we join this class action lawsuit? I brought it to my auto body guy to have it fixed before it did start rusting and he told me this is a bad paint job to bring it back to Honda. Same problem. This was my 3rd HONDA, but now I am debating. The car looks horrible with large dull dark spots bordered with a white haze on a black car!! I have had over five different Honda cars and never had this problem before. It is disappointing that a large automobile company will not standby their product, and do what is right. The only problem with paint is the roof – it looks oxidized.
Wonder why all Honda products with the Sensing equipment isn’t automatically included?? I would have bought a Ford or Chevy or even a Nissan if I didn’t care what it looked like in 6 years.
